A sentence can already become a few seconds of motion in a browser. People who spend their time on hardware, games, and software have seen the results: a camera that drifts, a subject that barely moves, and a file that looks finished until you ask what it is a picture of. The useful test is a draft of an idea. It is not footage of an event, a benchmark, or a photograph you took.

That line matters on a site where a contest can be lost because a frame was generated. If the pixels were made from a prompt, say so before the file goes up.

Start with one action and one still

Write the shot the way you would write a camera note: subject, lens feel, what moves, what stays still. Then attach a still you actually want matched, not a painting of a different subject. A short prompt produces a short guess. A still of the real object, the real case, or the real scene gives the guess something to hold.

Previews are for throwing away bad frames before you spend a generation. If the first frame is already the wrong object, do not animate it.

Keep the draft where a shot can still be changed

Topview is the workspace for that draft. You describe the idea, or you add a script, a reference clip, or the page the thing already lives on. The scenes stay editable, so the next pass changes the move instead of starting from an empty box. The plan and the credits are on the site before you generate. The workspace does not certify that a clip is a recording, and it does not post it for you.

When the test needs a start and a finish

A few seconds is enough to see whether the subject is even the right one. A test of an action needs the action to begin and end. Seedance 2.5 generates that clip at about 4 to 30 seconds, from text plus image, video, and audio, with the timing written in seconds. You can bring up to 50 references: as many as 30 images, 10 video clips whose combined length stays inside 30 seconds, and 10 audio files on the same combined limit. On this page the export you can select tops out at 1080p.

Trial credits are shown before you generate. They are not an unlimited run, and a free pass may use a narrower preset than the full settings. If one second is wrong, that section can be revised while the rest stays more stable. Commercial use depends on the plan and the license at export.

Label the file before it leaves the machine

Put the prompt, or a one-line note that the clip was generated, next to the download. A generated scene can be a test, a storyboard, or a labeled illustration. It cannot be offered as a photo of a place, a product you did not film, or a result you measured. If the real object has to be in the frame, shoot the real object.
